Looking to pick and pluck your own strawberries at your own will.....head to Big Red Strawberry Farm @ Cameron Highland.
An advise to you, if you really into pick and pluck, head no where else except for this place because other Strawberry Farms are small and some do not allow us to pluck at all (written seasonal only).
As you can see, those strawberries that we pluck are all hydroponically grown.
This time, my daughter, Vyan did not enjoyed herself due to chicken pox, while my son, Ryan enjoyed himself....wanting to pluck more ... or even to pluck the hydroponically grown vegetables.

There are some rules on picking and plucking your own strawberies. All strawberries picked must be paid for. Only 2 people are allowed to a basket, and strictly NO CHILDREN BELOW 10 YEARS.
Pick only the ripe strawberries (Red in colour)... I was wondering why they put this as rules because of course people would go for the red colour strawberries.
You can pick and pluck your own strawberries by cutting the stem with the scissors provided.
Surely they don't allow you to just choose a few, thus their minimum quantity is 1/2 kg for RM 20.00.
Our harvest after a hard day... |
Lastly, anyone wants strawberries.....
Our trip continues to Genting Highland... and going round and round down the mountain....and going round and round up to another mountain. Sadly, nearly 98% of the strawberries are all moldy when we came back to Muar.
