Food review.....

Looking for food in the early morning at Cameron Highland... visit Oldies & Goodies Roasted Restaurant.  The restaurant is located along the road to Strawberry Farm & Cactus Valley.  It is same row with Strawberry Moment.

We were actually heading to Strawberry Moment however the outlet only opens at about 10 something.

The restaurant was empty when we stepped in however most of their famous dishes were already finished.  It is just 9.30 am and no more ? Is that a JOKE ?...

Since is it just for a breakfast before shooting down to Genting Highlands, we called our own individual dishes.

The wantan mee here is just so so only, and cannot compared with those at low land.

Their front cover menu showing immortality soup... anybody wants to become Immortal ...please drink this soup everyday then.

The inside menu is quite colourful and detail with lots of variety. 

The watercress with prune is indeed tasteless and it is the most expensive drink that we ordered.  I am not too sure is that the normal taste or they forgotten to add something.

Looking for halal steamboat restaurant at Aeon Bandaraya Melaka.... visit See U Village Steamboat.

Have tried this restaurant twice, overall service and food is just so so... nothing to hoo ha about.

We reached this restaurant at about 6.00 pm on Saturday and there are a few tables been occupied already.  Early dinner like us maybe.

The menu is quite colourful and detail.  Since there are only 4 of us, we order steamboat set for two with some individual plates.

The homemade herbal drink is indeed tasteful however the cost is more than double comparing with the ones at The Two Restaurant; but it is worth the money considering you can even see the herbs beneath the drinks. 

The steamboat here is indeed very filling.... !!

Looking for newly opened steamboat restaurant in Muar town.... visit The Two Restaurant.

This restaurant is located outskirt of Muar town and just opened last month; if not mistaken 5 August.

We reached this restaurant at about 6.30 pm on Sunday and all the tables are already occupied.  Everyone wants to try something new... that's why !

The menu is quite colourful and nice for Muar standard.  Since there are quite a number of us, we did not order Steamboat Sets, but those individual plates.

We ordered quite a number of dishes, but the portion that came seems to be little, thus we made two more additional orders.

The herbal drink was tasteless and it cost RM 1.00 per cup.  The normal price of a herbal drink here in Muar is about RM 0.70 - RM 0.90, in which taste a lot better.




The steamboat here is just so-so only and not that filling compared to home prepared steamboat, where we need to unbuckle our belts... Burp.... !!

Looking for nice, yummy good and famous Assam Fish Head in Muar town.... visit Shee Yaan Restaurant.  This restaurant does not face the main road, but it is located right behind the shoplots of Pizza Hut and Bank of Bangkok.

We reached this restaurant at about 7 pm and it was already crowded with people waiting for their table outside of the restaurant.  So, just in case you think of eating at this restaurant, it is better for you to make a booking earlier.  That is why, we are able to get in before the others... an advance booking !

For your information, it is useless for you to find the table yourself, because there won't be any waiters taking orders except for drinks.  One has to order their food by informing the lady boss; choosing the food items (fish meat, otak-otak, oyster, fish egg, sotong, prawn etc etc) from the fridge which is next to the cashier.

Their service is quite efficient as this restaurant employs quite a few foreign workers.

All the food came in less than 20 minutes.

Bamboo Lala - RM 9.40

Kangkong - RM 6.00

Cupcakes - Sesame Street Characters

Since everyone is so interested in cupcakes, I would like to share some nice Sesame Street cupcakes in which I bought online from Ms. Emilia Harun.

As there are so many characters in the Sesame Street, and I just need a few cupcakes for the kids...... I narrowed down my selection to : Big Bird, Oscar, Elmo, Ernie, Grover and Zoe. 

Missing Character : Bert, Cookie Monster,

The big eyes and big smiles of the characters definitely will bring warmth and smile to anybody that is getting the cupcake...and it is PROVEN !

These cupcakes are specially bought for my son's birthday to celebrate it at his school.  Guess what, I travelled about 320 km (to and fro from Muar to Kajang) just to take the cupcakes.  

When we opened the cupcake boxes in front of the kids at school.... we can hear and see the children's excitement and happiness on their faces.......everything is WORTH IT !
