It was reported that two weeks ago, some tourist spotted some lions roaming at Genting Highland. 
Gosh.... LIONS !!
Yet visitors won't stop going to the casino and the theme parks. Hotel spokemens said that they recorded a high number of tourist from Australia, Brunei, China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Mauritius, Singapore, Thailand, USA and Vietnem.
Why is that so ?? Are they so crazy about the casino there......or they would like to see the roaming lions. Luckily the roaming lions were captured and placed at the Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands for 3 days from July 23 to 25 July 2010.
It was the 9th Genting World Lion Dance Championship.
Why in Malaysia ?
The Lion Dance Association of Malaysia contributed a lot to the popularity of the lion dance practice and performances which includes various moves making it more interesting and popular art. Nevertheless, most of the lion dance world championships were held in Malaysia and guess who is the winner of the 9th Genting World Lion Dance Championship 2010 .....it is none other than my hometown warriors, the Kun Seng Keng troupe... making Muarians proud of you !
** by the way, the winning TROPHY wasn't filled with that lettuce !!
